A DUMPLING-FILLED FUNDRAISER
Join Theater Mu for the launch of our annual Block Party! In 2021, we reconnected with the Mu Family Reunion. In 2022, we celebrated Mu’s 30th birthday. Now it's time to establish a new tradition: a family-friendly block party at Harriet Island Pavilion in Saint Paul. Enjoy delicious food and drinks, performances by Mu artists, and an overview of the state of theater—and the vision for Mu—by artistic director Lily Tung Crystal and managing director Anh Thu T. Pham.
This event will help us reach our $30,000 fundraising goal during the month of August, so please save the date and spread the word!

TICKETS
To keep our event as accessible as possible, Theater Mu is using PAY AS YOU ARE (PAYA) pricing. PAYA asks those who routinely pay $80 for event and fundraiser tickets to choose to pay that amount; it is the actual fair market value of the ticket. If a guest needs to pay less, they can choose to do so—as little as $40 per ticket. Children 12 and under can attend for $20.
Your ticket includes:
entry into the fundraiser
complimentary lunch buffet
two drink vouchers for alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS
Accessibility for our audiences and community members is a major priority. Dismantling barriers to Mu’s programming not only amplifies Asian American voices and stories, but also allows our Mu family to grow. We are applying this principle to our annual fundraising event by moving away from a traditional gala structure toward a community-centered gathering which includes our Pay As You Are pricing.
This sliding scale is only possible with the support of Mu Family members like you. We hope you will consider sponsoring the event, which will directly benefit those in our community who would be unable to attend the event otherwise.
