SEEKING
Seeking youth actors ages 10-18 and one adult female for the world premiere of Tae Keller’s Newbery-winning story, When You Trap a Tiger. Character descriptions below. Stages and Mu seek a diverse cast and encourage actors of all ethnicities, cultures, gender identities, socioeconomic status, and (dis)abilities to audition.
SYNOPSIS
In this world premiere with Stages Theatre Company, we ask a very important question: Would you make a deal with a magical tiger? Lily must find a way to save her dying grandmother, but her only chance is by finding something that was secreted away decades ago. Based on Tae Keller’s No. 1 New York Times best-selling, Newbery Medal-winning novel, When You Trap a Tiger looks at the healing power of stories.

All auditions, rehearsals, and performances for When You Trap a Tiger will take place at Stages Theatre Company, located in the Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins.
